Poetry in the Arts online has ceased operations, and will cease to exist in February 2008 when its hosting contract expires.

Though the resources listed herein will retain some value, the value of the links will begin to decline at a rate of about 30 links per month as of today's date, 2/6/08.

Current List Organization

There are hundreds of separate items listed, some of which provide links that bring the total to thousands of others. The list is currently divided into five categories:

Physical Entities that provide educational services for writers at a fixed location. These include writers' centers, commercial schools, junior colleges, colleges and university level writing courses. To search these resources, use the dedicated search that opens in this frame when you click the link.

Online Courses, Learning Resources, Teacher Resources, Forums, Groups and Workshops - These range from email correspondence courses to interactive online instruction, and can be free or entail a fee.

Writer Organizations - Professional, fraternal and associative organizations that offer resources and benefits and resources to members. Many also provide freely accessible resources that can be useful to non-members.

Downloads & Online Orders - How-to and course material available for download and order through the mail.
