Poetry in the Arts' Publisher, Poet and Writer Resources are provided at no charge as a service to the literary community.
The Literary Contests Indexes are not just poetry contests, and they are the most complete free resource of their kind on the Web—with nearly 1,200 indexed awards, contests, writing fellowships and writing grants! They include poetry contests, fiction contests, nonfiction contests, essay contests, book publication contests, book awards, hypertext writing contests, writing contests offered by genre publishers and more. The index of Publishers feature links to over 1,400 English language literary publications and dozens more imprints. The publisher indexes include: a book publisher index; a magazine publishers, journal publishers and anthology publishers index; and an e-Zine publishers index. The Writer Development resources contains hundreds of links to such diverse assets as online critique groups, creative writing courses and writing workshops, educational facilities such as writers centers and organizations to community college, college and university creative writing programs—and Employment Opportunities & Selcted Services for Writers. Our Poetry Archives contains some of the best resources of its kind.
