SUBMISSIONS - Needs: Mainstream and literary only. No genre, p _ nography, gratuitous violence or racism of any kind.

How to Contact: Please send manuscript with cover letter listing publication credits, if any, and a SASE. Accepts simultaneous submissions and previously published material, if noted. Submissions will be accepted via email and postal mail (no disks, please).

Poetry: Send a maximum of 5 poems. If submitting via email, send poems either as a Word attachment or embedding submission into the body of the email. If submitting via postal mail . . .

Fiction: Send a short story, 3,000 words maximum. If submitting via email, send as Word attachment only. If submitting via postal mail, send . . .

Art: Send art and/or photography as an attachment

Reviews: We review books/chapbooks of poetry and short story collections.

Payment/Terms: Acquires one-time online and print rights. Contributor will receive one complimentary issue.


Pebble Lake Review Poetry & Fiction Contest

First Prize (2): $100 + 5 contributor copies of Awards print issue

Honorable Mention (4): Publication + copy of Awards issue

Each entrant receives copy of award issue. All entries considered for publication in future issues. The prize will be given for a single poem and one short story.

Final Judges: varies annually

Open to all writers unassociated with judge or Pebble Lake Review.

Postmark deadline: June 1 annually. Prize-winning issue: August 15 annually.

Submit up to 5 poems totaling no more than 12 pages or one short story up to 7,000 words with a $10 entry fee. Please make checks or money orders payable to Pebble Lake Review .

Simultaneous submissions and previously published material are permitted with written notification. No money will be refunded. Submissions will not be returned; send SASE for results.
