Dos Gatos Press Periodical/Serial GUIDELINES POETRY Submissions are currently closed Submit 1-3 typewritten pages, 35-line limit per poem, including title and spaces. No email submissions; no previously published poems. Do not place your name or other identifying information on the poems themselves. Poems with a Texas connection preferred. Submit a cover letter that includes: * the title of each poem (first line for an untitled poem, although we strongly prefer titled poems) * your email address and phone number * a short bio--50 words or less--focusing on your life as a writer If you do not have an email account, include an SASE for contact. Poems will be not be returned, so do not send your only copy! NOTE: We strongly prefer to communicate by email. If you change your email address, please let us know immediately. Contributors published in the calendar will receive one complimentary copy of the 2007 Texas Poetry Calendar. All submissions are eligible for the Texas Poetry Awards.
