The Poet's Canvas

There is texture all about us, and in places we sometimes take for granted. I might have missed that from my own background had I not the advantage of time. Earthly life is fraught with calamity and sorrow, but amazing astonishment exists nonetheless. The 'little things' truly are what bring the greatest joy or provide the thread for a tale with great impact. I suppose it is from the lifelong textures that have etched my internal being that the idea of Poet’s Canvas was conceived.

Submissions - Poet’s Canvas publishes on a quarterly schedule. Back issues will remain online and available for public reference as electronic storage space permits.

Poetry: Verse of any style and theme will be considered. Submissions of well-crafted formal poetry are enthusiastically welcomed. We encourage both new and established artists to share their best work.

Fiction: Also considered are microfiction and short stories. Previously published work may be considered,* but only under the condition outlined below. Simultaneous submissions are not entertained.

Unsolicited submissions are read in the order received; however, there is a limit of one submission per contributor per month. .
