InterText Magazine

InterText is a quarterly online magazine. It is a free publication, and currently has no sponsors. As a result, InterText cannot pay its contributors.

InterText is published in ASCII (plain text), PDF (Adobe Acrobat), PostScript (laser printer), and HTML (World Wide Web) formats, and reaches thousands of readers on six continents -- a wider readership than most small press magazines. We've been publishing since March 1991.

Guidelines - All genres of writing are considered for publication, as are stories that cross between traditional genre boundaries. InterText has published "mainstream"-style stories, as well as fantasy, humor, science fiction, horror, and everything in-between -- including stories that cut across several genres. We would like to keep the magazine as diverse as possible. InterText only accepts original work and cannot publish works using copyrighted characters or settings (e.g. Star Trek).

Stories should be ober 1,000 words and under 15,000 words, though rare exceptions to this rule can be made. We're very selective about longer, serialized works.

Submissions can be made in several formats: plain ASCII text or Microsoft Word are preferred, although we will accept RTF and HTML.
