GUIDELINES - Life is a multi-sensory experience; we want work that represents that. Ink & Ashes features poetry, creative non-fiction, essays and visual art that details, records, questions, explains, and otherwise beautifully documents and explores the human experience. We understand that's a wide field to cover so in short if you think your work elicits the senses, please send it. With all submissions, please send a short bio and all your appropriate contact information.
We seek to publish a broad range of writers, from the new and emerging to the well seasoned. We accept simultaneous submissions with the promise that you will let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. Ink & Ashes editors strongly prefer previously unpublished work, however, if you feel your previously published piece warrants our attention, send it to us but let us know where and when it's been published before. Ink & Ashes does not currently pay contributors. Upon acceptance, Ink & Ashes holds first publication rights to your work with all rights reverting to the author upon publication Please be aware that we keep all published work under consideration for any "best-of" issues.
