Apollo's Lyre
An ezine written by writers for writers of every caliber and
genre...loaded with writing articles, fiction and poetry to read,
publication venues, book announcements and more.
Submissions - Apollo's Lyre welcomes submissions from experienced and/or new writers.
We are looking for:
- Articles pertaining to the business of writing
(We occassionally run serialized articles
pertaining to the writing field.
Please query first if you would like to submit a serialized article.)
- Tips & Techniques on the craft of writing
- Fiction stories (no erotica or vulgar language)
- Reviews of books
- Poetry
We want informative articles that will teach writers
how to enhance and increase their writing skills.
Articles are to be between 300 - 1,000 words.
Fiction stories and book reviews should be
between 300 - 2000 words.
Please adhere to these guidelines.
We are also looking for longer fiction stories, up to 8000 words,
to
showcase in our Serial Ink. These longer pieces will be viewed online
and via a special newsletter that will showcase the story in
installments, once a month.
You may submit up to 5 poems with a reasonable amount of verses.
