Please join us for the second annual Tony Hillerman Writers Conference, Nov. 3-6, 2005 at the Albuquerque Hilton. The conference will feature Discovering Story Magic as a pre-conference session on plotting and character development in fiction. Our popular mystery short story contest is back, courtesy of Cowboys & Indians Magazine, which will publish our winner! In addition to Tony Hillerman, the dean of Southwestern mystery writers, our faculty includes award-winning author Margaret Coel who has published 10 mysteries set among the Arapahos on the Wind River Reservation. Her 11th is due out in September! Michael McGarrity and David Morrell join us again this year along with many others. The program features our faculty in panel discussions, book signings, special lunches and more.
