Transformative Language Arts, part of Goddard College’s individualized MA program, is a 48-hour MA degree in social and personal transformation through the spoken and written word. Seek greater freedom, healing and transformation for yourself and your community through the power of words. Discover ways to use writing, storytelling, drama, music and related arts to make a meaningful living. Make community with others who share your passion. Keynoters: singer-songwriter Greg Greenway, storyteller Gail Rosen, poet and writer Cheryl Savageau, poet and actress Laura Secord, plus 35 presenters in literature, the arts and healing arts. Organized by Goddard College’s Transformative Language Arts concentration, this conference features hands-on workshops on a wide range of expressive language arts and right livelihood, performances, open readings & celebrations at the peak of fall foliage. Some partial scholarships available, including the Roxanne Florence Fund for people of color. Continuing education, professional, and poetry therapy hours available.
