In China they are known as “Monadnock’s New Pastoral Poets.” In the United States these seven award-winning writers create quietly beneath Mt. Monadnock’s tolerant shade. On May 5-7, 2006, John Hodgen, Pat Fargnoli, Terry Farish, Rodger Martin, Susan Roney-O’Brien and Jim Beschta will lead the second annual Monadnock Pastoral Poetry Retreat at BU’s Sargent Environmental Center, Hancock, NH, culminating in their 17th Annual reading banquet at Del Rossi’s Trattoria.
